About the role
- Pricing Analyst developing sportsbook strategies for Hard Rock Digital, enhancing pricing models and increasing competitiveness. Requires sports betting knowledge and coding proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java.
Responsibilities
- Help develop our sportsbook platform
- Identify flaws and possible improvements in pricing to increase competitiveness
- Spot potential pricing inconsistencies across sports
- Use sporting knowledge to highlight rule changes impacting models
- Compare historical outcomes to current outputs, identifying negative impacts
- Suggest enhancements to pricing models using new algorithms or coding methods
- Appraise and test pricing changes for improvements
- Ensure documentation is to a high standard for consumption
Requirements
- Highly motivated individuals with a mix of sports betting knowledge and technical acumen
- Coding capability in at least one (preferably more) of SQL, Python or Java is extremely desirable
- Knowledge of the US sports betting market
- Analytical, mathematically minded and detail orientated
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- No minimum qualification for the role, as long as you can demonstrate technical proficiency and up to date developments in the sports betting world.
