About the role
- Area Development Manager developing new business strategies and nurturing client relationships for the UK’s largest drainage provider. Focused on achieving sales targets and maintaining client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Targeting and sourcing new business across the region
- Working with National accounts to develop and grow business
- Attending site visits to evaluate work requested
- Quoting for works quickly in accordance with costings
- Proactively following up on quotations to secure business
- Upselling to existing clients
- Managing your own diary and administration
- Working closely with depot manager to achieve sales targets and forecasting
- Travelling to various locations and regional training events & meetings
- Attending sales events, networking events
- Proactively selling the services through advertising campaigns and LinkedIn etc
Requirements
- Business to Business Sales experience essential
- Service industry sales experience - ideally with drainage/waste management or construction related industry or multi utility essential
- Excellent work ethic who can go above and beyond to ensure the best service is delivered
- Desire to succeed in a niche but highly rewarding market
