Lead Service Technician coordinating teams of electricians and installation partners for energy-efficient building solutions in Germany. Responsible for quality assurance and technical standards implementation.
Responsibilities
You take responsibility for a growing team of in-house electricians and external installation partners — coordinating assignments, ensuring on-site quality and establishing the technical standards that KUGU will rely on long-term.
Scheduling & project coordination — You schedule the assignments for our two in-house electricians and six external installation partners — on time, with optimized resources and a focus on on-site quality.
Management of external installation teams — In addition to our own partners, you coordinate customers' installation teams: technical briefings, performance checks and escalation management.
Field quality assurance — You are on-site for projects across Germany, conduct technical acceptance of installations and intervene before defects become customer issues.
Technical project engineering — After contract signing you accompany customer projects into detailed technical planning — as a knowledgeable point of contact, not a presenter.
Technical documentation & knowledge building — You create installation standards and checklists in Confluence and Jotform that the team and external partners can reliably use — for everyday use, not just for filing.
Internal technical anchor — Colleagues from Sales, Operations and Product Development turn to you with installation questions — you provide clear, practical answers.
Requirements
You hold a Meister (master craftsman) certificate or a state-certified technician qualification in electrical engineering or building services/technical systems (HVAC).
You have at least 5 years of professional experience after qualification, including initial experience in a coordinating or leadership role.
You have proven that you can reliably manage people and processes.
Willingness to travel of approx. 60%. Your projects are distributed across Germany; your home base is Berlin.
You work confidently with digital tools such as Jira, Confluence, Calendly, Jotform and Pipedrive; new software doesn't scare you — it interests you.
You have a structured, documentation-oriented working style and build processes that run without you.
You are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves when the situation requires it.
You speak German fluently (C1) and hold a driving licence (Class B).
