About the role
- Associate Project Manager responsible for execution and coordination of projects at Knights of Columbus. Ensuring alignment with company strategy and effective management of resources and project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects
- Manage resources and coordinate the efforts of team members, business stakeholders, and third-party contractors or consultants
- Ensure project deliverables are completed according to plan, defined timelines and budget
- Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle
- Prepare and communicate status reports on the health of the project
- Monitor and control resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget
- Align project objectives with company goals
Requirements
- BA or BS in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or another business-related field
- 1-4 years of project management experience
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques including Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, and Hybrid methodologies
- Ability to contain project scope, and act as owner for all project outcomes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Basic Technical understanding of the digital platform, cloud applications, web services, server-side components and APIs
- PMI-ACP or PMP certification (through PMI) is preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification a plus
