Controller role in Finance & Real Estate Administration supporting financial processes and rental agreements for KIKO Milano. Based in Berlin, part-time opportunity in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
Responsibilities
Review of service charge statements, evaluation of disputes, and communication with landlords and external service providers
Monitoring and verification of ongoing rent payments, including indexation adjustments
Preparation and review of invoices related to rent-free periods and construction cost allowances (BKZ)
Management and oversight of direct debit processes for rent payments
Maintenance and submission of turnover reports and tracking of turnover-based lease agreements
Monitoring open Purchase Orders (POs), tracking costs, and reconciling with Finance and Controlling teams
Maintaining and updating templates and approval processes
Administration and monitoring of deposits, guarantees, and other securities
Support for new store openings with administrative and financial matters related to leases and payments
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., real estate clerk, office clerk, industrial clerk) or equivalent qualification
Initial professional experience in property management, finance, accounting, or real estate administration is an advantage
Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems desirable
Structured, conscientious and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
Good understanding of financial and contractual matters (e.g., rent and service charge reconciliations, indexations)
Strong communication skills in dealings with landlords, service providers and internal departments
High service orientation, reliability and discretion when handling sensitive data
Fluent German (spoken and written); English skills are an advantage
