About the role
- Backend / Algorithmic Engineer developing software solutions for a construction tech startup using innovative 3D concrete printing technology. Collaborating with project teams to enhance processes and products.
Responsibilities
- You develop and implement software solutions ranging from BIM import of a building model to path planning for printing
- You optimize existing services (Printability Check, slicer, path planning, etc.)
- You integrate your solutions into our service-oriented software architecture
- You provide interfaces for other team members
- You collaborate closely with project teams to develop improvements to processes and products
- You work closely with product owners and other internal departments and coordinate independently with them
- You maintain close contact with external development service providers
Requirements
- Degree in software engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge of software development
- Strong programming skills, ideally in Python
- Practical experience with algorithmic solution methods
- Experience with modern software development methodologies and tools
- Intrinsic motivation to learn new skills and a high degree of initiative
- Desire to work in a dynamic team and strong communication skills
- Business-fluent German and English
