About the role
- QA Manual Tester responsible for testing mobile games and backend services at Gimica. Collaborating with developers and teams to ensure game quality and stability.
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing test cases for mobile games (iOS & Android)
- Backend and API testing (REST services, request/response validation)
- Log analysis and debugging
- Regression testing and release validation
- Working in agile development environments
- Writing clear, structured bug reports
- Using test management tools and maintaining test documentation
- Testing live operations features such as events, offers, and remote configurations
- Coordinating testing efforts across multiple stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in QA, ideally within mobile gaming
- Solid understanding of backend testing and API validation
- Hands-on experience testing Unity-based applications
- Experience working with Firebase (e.g., Remote Config, Analytics, Crashlytics)
- Experience using Swagger for API documentation and testing
- Strong experience with Jira for bug tracking and workflow management
- Experience with Xray (or similar test management tools)
- Good understanding of client-server architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
