About the role
- Counselor leading group therapy sessions in addiction recovery community. Collaborating with care teams to support member success and engagement in recovery-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead 2–3 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum
- Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework
- Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches
- Monitor member progress and document outcomes
- Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members
- Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree
- Required licensure or certification: Behavioral health licensure including but not limited to: LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, CAP with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
- Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
- High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (written and verbal proficiency)
- Experience working in multilingual or multicultural environments is a plus
