About the role
- Equipment Manager coordinating procurement, delivery, and management of GNFR equipment for Kmart. Ensuring compliance and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to meet project needs.
Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end GNFR equipment procurement, delivery, installation and inventory
- Coordinating equipment schedules to meet project timelines and operational requirements
- Sourcing, evaluating and negotiating with suppliers to achieve best cost, quality and service outcomes
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external/overseas suppliers
- Ensuring all equipment meets company policies, manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
- Identifying opportunities to improve delivery models, processes and ways of working
- Providing training, documentation and guidance to support safe equipment use and process consistency
- Overseeing financial responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, logistics, equipment management or similar
- Experience managing multiple suppliers and coordinating delivery schedules
- Strong project and time management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience identifying process improvements and implementing efficiencies
- The ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate with diverse groups
- A commitment to safety, compliance and high-quality execution.
