Responsibilities
Understand the JJ Technology priorities and devise category strategies that advance those priorities.
Create Tech stacks with key Technology leaders to drive alignment on existing and upcoming technology priorities across the enterprise.
Drive alignment between software sourcing strategy and IT architecture roadmaps, including cloud and hyperscaler strategies.
Collaborate with business leaders and Service Delivery team to ensure Procurement strategies meet the business needs, and are adopted within the business.
Identify industry trends that Procurement must incorporate in its category strategies to ensure sustainable relevance to the business.
Partner with the Category and Service Delivery teams and lead strategic sourcing events, negotiations and contract lifecycle management.
Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key software suppliers.
Identify and deliver cost optimization and value creation opportunities.
Deliver against savings, innovation and other performance targets for the organization in the role’s area of responsibility and ensure target achievement.
Requirements
A Bachelors Degree is required, and an MBA or other advanced degree is desirable.
Minimum 12 -15 years related experience is required (preferably in Software Procurement, Business Operations or Supply Chain)

Strong leadership and collaboration skills at the executive level, as well as with peers.
Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, finance, and business teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to expertly present complex information to executives.

Understanding of legal terms, compliance, and risk management in contracts.
Demonstrated ability to successfully work with data, digital tools and technology to drive insights, business value and process efficiency.
Strong project and change management capabilities.
Proven learning agility, improving both yourself and the people around you.
Ability to effectively deliver against Goals and Objectives while also balancing shared roles and responsibilities with other team members.
Preferred experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Medical Technology sectors.
Past experience in managing IT procurement across Lifesciences, Pharmaceuticals.
High level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community, based on broad experience.
Track record in participating and leading cross-functional teams.
Flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment.
Exposure to AI‑enabled software, data platforms, or digital transformation initiatives.
