Regional MSL Director supporting the West territory for Lumateperone at Johnson & Johnson. Leading scientific support and strategy for the MSL team across multiple states.
Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the Lumateperone Medical Science Liaison (MSL) regional team
Provide scientific, research, and educational support to health care professionals
Partner with the MSL Head to set and drive strategy for their region
Conduct routine strategy reviews with each MSL direct report
Provide support, coaching, and development to direct reports (MSLs)
Ensure execution of field Medical Affairs programs, including product launches and proactive initiatives
Ensure strong clinical engagement strategy for each territory within the region
Stay abreast of scientific information and disease states
Coordinate with other Medical Affairs and Scientific Affairs personnel
Requirements
A minimum of a master’s degree is required. PharmD, PhD, MD highly preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of experience required with at least 4-5 years of pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical/research experience is required.
A minimum of 2-3 years of MSL experience is required.
A valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
Preferred: Neuroscience experience is strongly preferred.
Previous people management responsibility is strongly preferred.
This role requires up to 60% of travel, including overnight travel.
