About the role
- Data Science Lead managing ML and AI projects at JLL. Leading a team while addressing complex problems and ensuring the products' stability and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Be a hands-on lead of ML/AI projects across business lines with rich data
- Coach and develop a team of top data scientists and AI engineers in Europe (remote)
- Guide your small team of direct reports towards pushing the bar of accuracy
- Contribute hands-on towards ensuring product stability, reliable deployment, and continuous monitoring
Requirements
- 2+ years of managerial or tech lead experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning
- Experience deploying production-level code in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG systems, and agentic AI architectures
- Great coding skills and engineering practices.
- An entrepreneurial mentality
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- An MSc degree (PhD advantage) in computer science, mathematics, or another STEM field.
- Experience managing or working with international colleagues – advantage
