About the role
- Security Consultant advising clients on the planning and improvement of information security management systems. Engaging in audits and implementing tailored security solutions for clients.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on the planning, establishment, operation and improvement of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
- Supporting clients in the development and further refinement of information security strategies and concepts
- Analyzing processes and infrastructures as part of audits and assessing identified findings
- Assessing and evaluating new technologies and technology trends (e.g., cloud migration, zero-trust architectures)
- Acting as an idea generator and advocate for clients' information security management
- Independently leading and executing projects
- Working remotely (mobile office) or on client premises
Requirements
- University degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Natural Sciences) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in information security
- Ideally certified such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or a comparable security certification
- Good knowledge of information-security-related ISO standards and the BSI IT-Grundschutz standards
- Experience with national and European banking and insurance regulations (e.g., MaRisk, BAIT, VAIT, ZAIT)
- Experience in modeling security requirements and their practical implementation in an operational IT security environment
- Knowledge of Business Continuity Management and IT Service Continuity Management
- Interest in current technologies and technology trends (e.g., cloud, DevSecOps, zero-trust, etc.)
- Structured working style, responsible and independent approach to work
- Willingness to travel throughout Germany
