Oversee faculty academic appointment processes at University of Pennsylvania. Coordinate with divisions and ensure adherence to policies and procedures for academic appointments.
Responsibilities
Manage, administer, and coordinate faculty academic appointments, reappointments, and promotions process.
Support divisional faculty coordinators in all appointment, reappointment, and promotion processes.
Research, preparation, and vetting of extramural consultants and peer references.
Oversee and implement peer reference process at the Division level.
Prepare monthly DOM COAP meetings with the Director.
Assemble dossier packets and set up BOX files for committee members.
Ensure University Faculty Search guidelines are followed.
Orient/train new faculty coordinators within the DOM.
Work directly with internal and external entities to verify academic appointment requests.
Maintain close interaction with the DOM Division Coordinators.
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
