About the role
- Field Service Technician installing and commissioning loading arms at national and international customers. Responsible for service, maintenance, and customer training in the loading systems sector.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for new installations and commissioning of loading equipment
- Perform service and repair work on loading systems
- Carry out maintenance of our loading systems
- Train and instruct customers on operation and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults
- Develop problem-solving approaches together with customers
- Document work performed
- Participate in projects to improve technical service operational processes
- Adhere to and consider occupational health and safety regulations
- Work in Germany and internationally
Requirements
- Vocational training in mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanics; preferably with further qualification as a technician or master craftsman
- Experience in mechanical or plant engineering
- Solid knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics and electrical engineering; control technology is an advantage
- High sense of responsibility, flexibility and an independent, reliable working style
- Good spoken and written English; additional foreign language is an advantage
- Good PC skills; confident use of the MS Office suite
- Ability to work at heights
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally 80–90%
- Class B driving licence
