Responsibilities
- Design, maintenance and optimization of image-processing services for very large volumes of medical images in the healthcare domain
- Design of associated data flows and processing workflows for ingestion, routing, and distribution of images and metadata
- Refactoring and modifications of existing services
- Development of automatable tests and test environments
- Supporting quality assurance through test-driven development principles
- Shaping team collaboration using agile development methods
- Contributing your own ideas to optimize our processes
Requirements
- University degree in (business) Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a backend software developer, primarily developing data-processing services in an object-oriented high-level language (preferably Java)
- Experience working with relational databases
- Knowledge of the Apache NiFi framework is desirable but not required
- Agile mindset and enthusiasm for working with new technologies
- Team-player attitude with a strong quality focus
- Very good and fluent German (B2–C1) and good English skills
