About the role
- Technology & AI Consultant facilitating AI workshops and developing solutions for clients. Analyzing technologies, risks, and opportunities in M&A and AI projects.
Responsibilities
- Workshops & Technology Transfer: Translate complex ML/LLM topics into clear, actionable insights, run AI workshops and training sessions, and enable business teams to apply AI effectively in their day-to-day work
- Technical Due Diligence in M&A: Analyze technology platforms, software stacks, and AI strategies in projects for M&A and private equity clients, assess risks, and identify investment opportunities
- AI & Software Innovation: Design and develop software and AI solutions, build prototypes, and bring ML and LLM models into production
- Process Transformation & Optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify automation and efficiency opportunities, and support implementation within business teams
- Work with Python, common ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud/MLOps tools
- AI Governance & Digital Compliance: Advise clients on responsible AI use, establish AI governance structures, and ensure legal and ethical requirements for digital compliance are met
- Share and grow your expertise: Benefit from a steep learning curve through internal workshops and coaching within your practice area
Requirements
- Degree in Physics, Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Data Science, or a comparable field
- Practical experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) and with common ML/AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Ollama, n8n, LangChain)
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and an interest in topics such as Reinforcement Learning and MLOps
- Interest in taking both technical and strategic perspectives — from software development to technology analysis in an M&A context
- Strong communication skills, a structured working approach, and enjoyment in conveying complex technical content in a practical way — especially in workshops and client projects
- Willingness to travel for domestic project assignments at client sites
- Business-fluent German and fluent English
