About the role
- Senior APQP Engineer at Interroll ensuring product quality planning in mechatronic projects. Leading interdisciplinary teams to enhance product quality from concept to mass production.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and monitor Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes
- Lead and coordinate APQP activities for mechatronic products
- Develop and implement quality strategies throughout the product development process
- Conduct risk analyses (FMEA, fault tree analyses)
- Facilitate design and process approvals (e.g., design reviews, PPAP)
- Collaborate with development, production, purchasing and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identify improvement opportunities and initiate corrective actions
- Train and support team members in APQP-related methods and tools
- Prepare reports and present results to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector
- Solid knowledge of APQP methodology and experience with FMEA, PPAP, SPC and other quality management tools
- Technical understanding of mechatronic systems and their manufacturing processes
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
