About the role

  • QA Engineer responsible for validating quality and accessibility compliance of eLearning content across various formats. Conducting testing, ensuring functionality, and supporting usability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end testing of eLearning content to ensure functionality, design consistency, and user experience quality.
  • Perform manual and basic automated testing across WBT, ILT, PDF, and mobile learning courses.
  • Ensure compliance with SCORM, AICC, and accessibility standards (WCAG / Section 508).
  • Validate course functionality across Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or similar bug-tracking systems.
  • Support accessibility testing to ensure courses meet inclusion and usability standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in eLearning QA or software testing
  • Certification such as ISTQB or similar QA certification preferred
  • Understanding of eLearning standards – SCORM, AICC, WCAG / Section 508
  • Experience with LMS platforms and authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
  • Familiarity with QA tools, defect tracking systems, and testing workflows (Jira preferred)
