Responsibilities
You will support the operation, maintenance and further development of modern enterprise networks.
You will analyze network incidents and performance issues and assist in their resolution.
You will accompany change implementations and support technical optimizations.
You will work with LAN, WAN and data center network environments.
You will document technical analyses, changes and solutions in a structured and traceable manner.
You will work closely with infrastructure, security and operations teams.
Requirements
Solid fundamentals in TCP/IP and basic packet flow analysis
Knowledge of routing technologies, specifically static/default routing and BGP / MP-BGP
Experience with network access control, e.g. ACLs and NAT
Strong knowledge of Layer-2 technologies such as STP, VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel and HSRP
Experience with IPsec VPNs, both policy-based and route-based, including troubleshooting
Knowledge of VRF, VPNv4 and MPLS VPN
Structured approach to troubleshooting, for example with latency issues, CRC errors or interface degradations
Experience with Cisco or Arista network devices
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
Willingness to undergo security screening according to German regulations (SΓ2)
