About the role
- Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing at Celestica specializing in automatic test equipment and test programs. Focuses on productivity improvements and quality test solutions in a high-volume production environment.
Responsibilities
- Accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs
- Support the test development of the test equipment and processes
- Lead test process optimization and productivity improvements
- Debug test process and equipment solutions using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
- Collaborate with Quality, Process and Equipment engineers to detect and solve product and test yield and performance issues
- Develop improvement roadmaps for test coverage, diagnosability and test time reductions
- Analyzing and interpreting data from yield reports and equipment logs
- Provide solution support to Process Engineers for detection of defect types
Requirements
- 3 - 8 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering role
- Engineering Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Solid understanding of test methodologies and equipment used in manufacturing
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) principles
- Knowledge of failure analysis techniques and methodologies
- Understanding of quality management principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Basic understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and data integration concepts
