About the role

Responsibilities
- Issuance of RPS (Provisional Service Receipt) and conversion of invoices
- Provide consultative support on tax queries from internal departments (Finance, Billing, Purchasing, etc.)
- Analyze tax classification for new services and new contracts
- Provide guidance on tax withholdings applicable to suppliers and clients
- Calculation and reconciliation of ISSQN (municipal service tax), both payables and withholdings
- Control of municipal withholdings and monitoring of rules by municipality
- Submission of municipal tax filings
- Monitor municipal legislation and update internal processes
- Management of municipal permits and registrations
- Periodic review of operations to ensure tax compliance
- Support during municipal audits, notifications, and infraction notices
- Preparation of reports and tax performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
- Previous experience in the services sector is a strong advantage
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with tax systems (Protheus) is desirable
- Knowledge of the main changes from the tax reform is desirable
