About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee Sequencing Instruments Manufacturing and Life Cycle Management
- Lead FP&A activities, including annual operating plans for manufacturing spend, Production variance, OpEx, and CapEx
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to site leadership
- Manage monthly close processes and deliver timely reporting on OpEx, CapEx, material variances, manufacturing absorption, and efficiency metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs to evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives
- Work with business SMEs to monitor GQO costs and identify margin improvement opportunities
- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible Finance experience
- 3-6 years of Management experience
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, variance analysis, gross margin analysis, and budgeting and forecasting
- Solid understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with SEC reporting requirements is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Experience with SAP and financial planning/reporting tools (e.g., TM1, Cognos BI); Thinkcell a plus
