Production Manager leading AV and technical production for events in the iGaming sector. Managing budgets, suppliers, and operational elements for successful live events.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of AV and technical production, including staging, lighting, sound, video, and live streaming.
Prepare and manage production budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence.
Source, negotiate, and manage AV suppliers, production companies, stand builders, and technical personnel.
Conduct site inspections and technical walkthroughs with venues and suppliers.
Develop production schedules, technical briefs, and show flows.
Oversee rehearsals, speaker technical requirements, and live show delivery.
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, including preparation of risk assessments.
Act as the on-site Health & Safety lead during build-up, event days, and breakdown.
Manage event insurance requirements, including public liability, contractor insurance, and exhibitor compliance documentation.
Oversee exhibition and expo areas, including floor plans, stand allocation, power, internet, and rigging requirements.
Ensure safe and efficient build-up and breakdown processes.
Proactively resolve technical and operational issues that may arise before or during events.
Collaborate with senior management to enhance production quality and operational efficiency.
Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure smooth event delivery.
Analyse the success of production delivery and prepare post-event technical reports.
Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes and suggest improvements where necessary.
Perform any other duties assigned by the employer.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in Event Production, AV management, or technical event delivery.
Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, staging, lighting, sound, and live event production.
Demonstrated experience managing Health & Safety compliance for live events.
Experience handling event insurance documentation and contractor compliance.
Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with suppliers, venues, and stakeholders.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Leadership skills to manage production teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Ability to adapt to changes and unexpected situations during live events.
