Responsibilities

  • Define and Own the Voice: Build a distinct, recognizable tone of voice for NEXT.io across all social channels.
  • News Distribution with a Punch: Craft engaging hooks, threads, and insights that spark industry debate.
  • Turn Events into Digital FOMO: Lead social strategy for global summits, creating community-led content.
  • Community Management: Direct engagement with industry leaders and readers in the comments.
  • Lead by Example: High-level strategy building while being hands-on initially.
  • Measure What Matters: Track engagement, community growth, and referral traffic using data.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience managing social media for a media, events, tech, or B2B brand.
  • A brilliant copywriter: Able to distill complex B2B news into punchy, witty, and engaging copy.
  • Community Builder: Knowledge in building hype, fostering connections and turning passive followers into active community members.
  • Formatting Fluid: Understanding of effective post formats across different platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, short-form videos).
