About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering guidance to our Owner’s Advisory service practice.
- Assist developers in designing, installing, or operating their technical systems.
- Go in the field with other engineers to assess challenges and monitor the construction of various facilities.
- Manage cost, scope, and schedule of projects as primary contact for clients.
- Serve as subject matter expert in natural gas and renewable technologies.
- Evaluate designs of natural gas and renewable systems.
- Oversee development of scoping and feasibility studies.
- Travel to project sites to oversee pilot facilities and monitor construction progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field with a focus on renewable and conventional fuels.
- 10+ years of total experience.
- Preference towards 5+ years of experience working in the renewable natural gas or similar industries.
- Experience with the design and construction of natural gas systems.
- Project management or project engineer experience.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Experience understanding technical concepts, while also being able to communicate them to varied audiences.
- Experience with emerging technologies, validate conceptual designs, and assess feasibility.
- Experience with interplay between process performance, operating costs, and project financial viability.
