IT Site Engineer providing critical IT support in Tokyo, Japan for manufacturing facilities. Responsible for ensuring reliability of IT systems from workstations to network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support for local IT systems including endpoints, operating systems, printers, and meeting room technology
Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing IT infrastructure, including Linux-based systems and local network connectivity
Resolve global IT support requests via Jira Service Management, contributing to shared service desk operations
Manage user access and permissions using IAM tools, and maintain clear documentation for site systems and processes
Requirements
Proven experience in hands-on IT support, field engineering, or systems administration
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and experience resolving connectivity issues
Experience supporting office IT equipment, collaboration tools, and service desk platforms

Base salary range for this position is contingent on experience, and will be negotiated individually.
