About the role
- Senior Developer leading the development of a custom CopyTrader system for fintech. Building a robust trading solution integrated with the cTrader platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a custom CopyTrader system using the cTrader platform (Spotware), featuring real-time order mirroring, trade allocation, and performance tracking.
- Integrate the CopyTrader system into a modern web platform, including secure API development, user account management, and a trading analytics dashboard.
- Ensure a high-performance, secure, and scalable architecture for both backend trading operations and the frontend user interface.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to ensure smooth end-to-end functionality and alignment with business goals.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and ensure a professional handover to internal or external teams for future maintenance or scaling.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in real-time trade mirroring and data processing.
Requirements
- Proven experience with cTrader / Spotware platform development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
- Solid experience with RESTful API development and secure authentication (OAuth, JWT).
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React.js, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Experience with real-time data processing and WebSocket integration.
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Minimum 5 years of development experience, including 2+ years in fintech or trading systems.
- Experience in high-performance, low-latency application design.
- Familiarity with trading logic, trade allocation, mirroring, and performance tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in agile and fast-paced environments.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and support project handovers.
