Salesforce Solution Architect required for designing high-performing Salesforce solutions for Huron's clients. Collaborate with stakeholders and oversee implementation to align with business goals and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for designing scalable, high-performing, and secure Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
Lead the design of end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.
Ensure architectural designs follow best practices, platform standards, and scalability principles.
Define integration patterns with external systems using APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and design solution roadmaps.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership on Salesforce capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Establish and enforce coding, configuration, and deployment standards.
Conduct architecture and design reviews to ensure compliance with security, data governance, and performance best practices.
Collaborate with developers, admins, and functional consultants to oversee implementation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams.
Support release management, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to optimize the Salesforce ecosystem.
Conduct impact analysis for new features, upgrades, or enhancements. Ensure high levels of system availability, performance, and security.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect or lead role
Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience Clouds) and Force.com development
Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs
Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, etc.)
Proven track record in designing large-scale, complex Salesforce solutions
Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and frameworks
Knowledge of data modeling, security architecture, and performance optimization
Strong ability to engage with executives, business users, and technical teams
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams
Certifications (preferred) Salesforce Certified Application Architect / System Architect. Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (highly desirable). Other Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer II, Sales/Service Consultant, etc.)
