Responsibilities
Perform and lead engineering activities including Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Preliminary Hazard Assessment (PHA), Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Hazard Reports, Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA)
Develop plans and coordinate completion of system and subsystem safety analysis
Ensure traceability between system and subsystem functions, requirements, and safety artifacts
Support verification and validation of safety and reliability requirements
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers across the program and company
Collaborate across systems to develop best practices
Requirements
B.S. degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related field
8+ years of System Safety or Systems Engineering experience
In-depth experience with performing safety analyses on safety critical systems
Ability to lead and coordinate safety analysis products across stakeholders
Strong safety and mission assurance fundamentals
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
