About the role

• Security Consultant dedicated to safeguarding client IT environments from unauthorized access and complex cyber threats. Engaging in proactive and reactive security measures, including incident response and project collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Use your hands-on skills to secure the IT environments of our client companies against unauthorized third-party access and complex attacks — both remotely and on-site
• Combine proactive activities (design, hardening, hands-on security assessments) with reactive tasks in the area of incident response
• Keep an eye on the overall architecture of systems and networks as well as technical configuration details to protect the client environment
• Actively work on current topics such as Cloud Security and KRITIS (critical infrastructure) and help shape new projects
• Support projects from requirements analysis and planning through execution, including presenting results

Requirements

• Professional experience in an IT environment (e.g., administration, development, networking, or IT coordination) and curiosity to test current tools, technologies and unconventional approaches
• Broad technical knowledge across different topics (e.g., how networks function, operating system fundamentals, cloud, Active Directory, databases, web technologies)
• Enthusiasm for IT security and initial project experience (e.g., creating security concepts, hardening systems or network components, working as DevSecOps, or in security administration)
• Experience preparing technically complex issues in a clear and understandable way as reports and presentations in German
