About the role
- Consultant IT-Notfallmanagement role for a growing IT security consulting firm. Focus on safeguards for business processes against failures and attacks, enhancing resilience and security.
Responsibilities
- Learn to identify vulnerabilities and help clients improve security with IT emergency concepts, restart and recovery plans, and data backup strategies — on-site and remotely.
- Contribute to handling security incidents, response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud.
- Support our clients in ensuring their operational continuity.
- Raise clients' emergency awareness through awareness workshops, IT emergency exercises, as well as failover/switchover and functional tests.
- Explore adjacent areas such as information security and third‑party risk management.
Requirements
- Practical experience in system integration, e.g., administration of data centers or in the IT service team of a system integrator.
- Alternatively, a degree in an IT-related field, e.g., (business) computer science, cyber security management, or similar.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, and initial experience in IT emergency management or with ITIL‑compliant operational processes.
- Drive and motivation to work into complex topics, pragmatic problem‑solving skills, and a confident professional manner.
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German.
