Senior Key Account Sales Manager for HiQ responsible for developing strategic customer relationships in Defence, Manufacturing, or Finance. Flexible hybrid work in various locations across Germany.
Responsibilities
Strategic management and expansion of existing key accounts — from needs assessment to project implementation
Development and execution of account plans to secure long-term customer retention, growth, and profitability
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at management and C-level
Identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities within existing customer structures
Close collaboration with internal delivery, consulting, and solution teams
Ongoing market and customer analysis to identify trends and new business opportunities early
Represent HiQ at industry events, conferences, and professional gatherings
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification
Minimum 10 years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, preferably in an IT or software environment
Proven track record in building and developing major accounts
Deep understanding of industry-specific requirements in Defence, Manufacturing, or Finance
Existing network within one of these target industries
Strategic and analytical thinker with a strong customer focus
Excellent communication skills, negotiation ability, and a confident presence at all hierarchy levels
Business-fluent German and English (at least C1)
