Lead Hybrid Network Engineer managing Hilton’s corporate network infrastructure and mentoring junior engineers. Collaborate with global teams to optimize network performance in hospitality technology.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document requirements from various teams and work with vendors to build those solutions.
Mentor junior engineers in troubleshooting, planning, communication, and more.
Lead multi-phased, multi-year projects as a leader on the Network Engineering team.
Review, develop, and monitor baseline and growth metrics/indicators to ensure standardized platform growth and resiliency.
Contribute to and maintain high-quality documentation about various systems in Hilton's Global Network.
Collaborate across functional teams of cross-functional experts in various network technologies.
Requirements
Five (5) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
Five (5) years of proven Network Engineering expertise that includes hands-on experience
Two (2) years of experience with AVI NSX Load Balancing technology and expertise in managing the platform in a hybrid implementation
Experience with Amazon AWS, with core Cloud Networking products such as ALB, NLB, or CloudWAN
Experience managing both traditional and cloud-native DNS solutions such as BIND9 and AWS Route53
Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
Demonstrated experience working in an international technology environment managing large, globally distributed hybrid networks
