Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain realistic load tests simulating high-traffic usage (hundreds of thousands of users) across web and backend systems
Execute performance testing, analyse results, and define action plans with service owners
Drive continuous improvement in performance testing practices and guide engineering teams on best practices
Promote and implement automation and self-service solutions to reduce manual effort
Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to capacity planning decisions
Mentor peers and act as a role model within the team
Ensure consistent, reliable delivery across all tasks
Communicate test outcomes and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate closely with development and operations teams
Build deep understanding of microservices architecture and how performance issues manifest across systems.
Requirements
Strong experience with performance/load testing in production environments
Solid understanding of networking, databases, and server operations in the context of load testing
Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g. Chef, Ansible)
Strong understanding of application and infrastructure performance metrics
Experience working with diverse system architectures and technical stakeholders
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical issues to varied audiences
Experience contributing to automation and testing frameworks
Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence team practices.
