Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Executive Director of the Lunder CareForce Institute to identify educational goals and priorities for HSL.
- Responsible for ensuring evidence-based nursing practice at the Roslindale and Dedham campuses.
- Provides oversight and coordination of nursing policies and procedures.
- Works across departments to create shared service agreements and collaborates on educational goals.
- Manages and oversees English language classes in conjunction with the Lunder CareForce Institute.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with nursing leadership experience. (Masters in Nursing Preferred)
- 5+ years of previous experience in a leadership role.
- Prior experience creating leadership development programs highly desired.
- Computer literacy required, understanding of Learning Management system preferred.
- Ability to plan, organize and direct large-scale and comprehensive nursing activities.
- Ability to supervise, train and motivate employees.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administration, medical personnel, employees, the public and other agencies.
