About the role
- Senior UX/UI Engineer at Hawk focusing on AI-powered Anti-Money-Laundering platform. Designing user experiences and implementing frontend solutions with modern coding practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive the UX strategy, design, and end-to-end frontend implementation for completely new product capabilities
- Build strong, intuitive human/machine interfaces that effectively surface complex agentic AI results and explainability metrics
- Lead the development of complex UI topics
- Architect and build scalable, maintainable frontend components using React
- Partner closely with Product Management, Backend Engineering, and Data Science
- Actively leverage and champion the use of agentic coding tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and establish modern engineering workflows
- Support strategic decision-making, establish frontend coding/design best practices
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development and UI/UX design experience
- Proven experience working seamlessly at the intersection of UI engineering, UX design, and product strategy
- Deep expertise in frontend development using React
- Strong hands-on experience architecting and bridging modern design systems and component libraries—specifically shadcn/ui and Material UI—is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement user interfaces for data-heavy, B2B, or enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience and comfort utilizing modern AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor etc.) as an integrated part of your daily development workflow
- Excellent holistic thinking and problem-solving skills
