Responsibilities
Ensure availability: food / non-food – depending on focus
Identify cost-saving opportunities: structured, data-driven and traceable tenders, price-performance and contract negotiations, decision papers for the department head and COO, always cleanly and transparently documented
Process and transparency culture: build and further develop simple, logical and solution-oriented procurement processes
Cross-functional coordination: align with internal stakeholders (including within the department with Product and Quality Management and cross-departmentally with Marketing, Franchise Partner Support and Training)
Risk management and market analysis: availability, alternatives, price and market developments
Reporting: KPIs, status updates, decisions — clearly and comprehensibly prepared
Requirements
Commercial training and/or degree in business administration (or related field)
Several years of purchasing experience, ideally in food, gastronomy, retail or FMCG environments
Strong capabilities in structure, communication and transparency: you explain decisions concisely and clearly, document reliably and work according to processes
Confident negotiator with a good sense for partnerships — fair, clear and goal-oriented
Analytical thinking, numerical affinity and enjoyment of standardized processes (with the ability to react flexibly to urgent requests with a clear head)
Fluent German and good English (meetings, emails, negotiations)
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
