Business System Analyst involved in delivering projects related to policy systems at Hamilton. Responsible for requirements gathering, data analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders in a vibrant workplace.
Responsibilities
Facilitate the documentation and agreement of business requirements, conducting meetings and workshops with various stakeholders.
Define requirements and create high-level design documentation through comprehensive and well-structured epics and user stories.
Conduct analysis across end-to-end business processes to understand the impact on our systems.
Perform Data Analysis to validate requirements and propose solutions.
Provide estimates and present solution approaches for delivery.
Collaborate with third-party providers to ensure the scoped solution fully meets business needs.
Support testing, implementation, and training activities to ensure seamless change delivery.
Develop training materials and provide training to business users on system or process changes.
Requirements
Experience with the full lifecycle delivery of mid to large-size projects, covering scoping, requirement gathering, User Acceptance Testing, and Go-live stages.
Strong analytical, inquiring, and problem-solving mindset.
Enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and learning new applications and platforms.
Solid technical skills for data analysis, including proficiency in SQL and Excel.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Demonstrable knowledge of the insurance industry.
Familiarity with software management tools such as DevOps, Azure, and JIRA for project maintenance and user story documentation.
Familiarity with Verisk (formerly Sequel) products, London market Products such as Eclipse, Sequel Claims, and Sequel Impact, would be advantageous but is not a critical requirement.
Experience as a Business Systems Analyst is essential.
