About the role
- Executive Communications Specialist handling communications for HPE Hybrid Cloud and Office of the CTO in a hybrid work environment. Helping develop communication strategies and content for internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities
- Help develop, implement, and evaluate team member communications strategies and programs to drive desired behavior
- Understand the communications needs of various internal and external audiences and collaborate with team members on crafting messages that are impactful and lead to desired outcomes
- Assist with the content development process for executive speeches, videos, podcasts, blogs, social media, etc.
- Support cross team efforts like communications measurement and benchmarking
- Assist with coordination and logistics of internal events such as all team meetings and ask me anything sessions, including scheduling, planning, executing, creative, presentations (slide creation), invitations, guest speaker coordination, and post-event reporting
Requirements
- Based near HPE headquarters in Spring, TX or San Jose, CA
- 5+ years of experience in executive or employee communications, journalism, public relations (PR) journalism, or product marketing
- BA or BS degree required
- Ability to meet occasional requirements to work early in morning or late at night, particularly leading up to and during events or other busy times of the year
