Finance Analyst managing financial operations for Wellhub's business transformation in São Paulo. Responsible for financial closure processes, analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in the monthly financial and accounting close process.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analyze income statement (P&L) accounts to ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards (accrual basis).
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecast updates (projections).
Prepare "Actual vs. Budget" reports, analyzing variances in Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Operating Expenses (OPEX), providing commentary on the main drivers.
Prepare managerial financial statements (Income Statement, Indirect Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet) for executive review.
Located in São Paulo with availability to come to the office when requested.
Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, or related fields.
Previous experience in financial operations, specifically Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing and taxes.
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS), PivotTables and building basic reports.
Knowledge of issuing tax invoices/notas fiscais (Products and Services) and a basic understanding of tax withholdings (ISS, IRRF, PIS/COFINS) to ensure process accuracy.
Active participation in the monthly financial close process, performing bank reconciliations and accounts receivable reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
Preparation of monthly financial reports and dashboards to support managerial decision-making.
Assist in Actual vs. Budget analysis, identifying variances and providing insights on revenues and expenses.
Support leadership with ad-hoc financial analyses and KPI monitoring to track business performance.
A proactive and responsible professional, quick to learn, with strong analytical skills, able to adapt rapidly to changing scenarios and deliver deep insights.
