About the role

  • VP of Sales Operations focused on supporting revenue growth through sales program execution at Gartner. Collaborating across departments and leading teams to enhance seller productivity and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Support business objectives of revenue growth through sales strategies and programs
  • Collaborate with other Ops leaders to align and implement best practices
  • Oversee reporting and analysis of business results and forecasts
  • Develop monthly operational presentations capturing sales performance
  • Partner with Business Leader(s) to analyze gaps and identify solutions
  • Capture and analyze impact and ROI for future enhancements
  • Mentor and coach MVPs, RVPs, and AMs effectively
  • Lead preparation of meeting materials for presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, master’s degree preferred
  • 12+ years business experience OR, 5+ years of consulting, project management, or other operationally equivalent work
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous and time-bound initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust styles to a range of potential audiences
  • Possesses excellent presentation building skills, with a keen eye for detail and story telling
  • Highly comfortable with speaking to large groups of people
  • Proven ability to understand business initiatives and challenges
  • Highly-developed sense of curiosity with a relentless drive for answers
  • Demonstrates high level of influence, and an ability to earn trust at very senior levels
