About the role
- Logistics Procurement Specialist at Grohe AG handling procurement of logistics services. Engaging in supply chain projects and market analysis to optimize transport solutions.
Responsibilities
- Procurement of logistics services: global tenders and benchmarking for road transport, sea, air, courier, express and parcel (CEP) services, and warehousing services
- System operation and maintenance (e.g., Eurolog, Pool4Tool, SAP): maintaining rate agreements in the system (Eurolog), and maintaining master and contact data in supplier management
- Market analyses, monitoring the transport market, identifying market trends and optimization opportunities
- Monitoring and analysis of costs, transit times, goods flows and other metrics (performance KPIs)
- Support in drafting contracts and specifications (Service Level Agreements / Standard Operating Procedures)
- Support in the implementation/onboarding of service providers
- Participation in supply chain projects
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training plus a recognized one-year logistics vocational qualification; up to one year of professional experience in transport, logistics, procurement or supply chain management
- Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
- Flexibility, resilience and strong concentration
- Organizational skills, reliability and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills, team orientation and risk awareness
- Very good German and good job-related English skills, both written and spoken
- Solid user knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Knowledge of MS Access is an advantage
- Experience with SAP TM is desirable
