Responsibilities
Own the full user experience process for our core products-from ideation and research to wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
Create information architectures, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder alignment.
Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand advisor, recordkeeper, and other personas’ needs, pain points behaviors and workflows.
Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, iterate, and deliver high-impact solutions.
Present research findings and design rationale to stakeholders at all levels, crafting compelling narratives that connect user needs to business value.
Work closely with engineering through detailed specifications and ongoing support to ensure design quality through production.
Establish and maintain design patterns, UI components, and UX and accessibility standards to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in design or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
5+ years of professional UX/UI design background with minimum 2 years working on digital experiences.
Previous experience in 0-1 products and/or fintech preferred but not required.
Proven track record of effective collaboration with product managers and engineers in an agile environment to ship user-centered design solutions.
Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
Experience conducting moderated usability testing and translating research insights.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
