Senior Category & Portfolio Manager focused on delivering insights for category growth at Glanbia. Analyzing data to drive performance in the sports nutrition sector across Continental Europe.
Responsibilities
Own category data and analytics by manipulating and translating large data sets into actionable insights
Distil market insight and trends to build category growth recommendations
Partner and collaborate with local customer teams to understand the retail landscape
Utilise data to create category / brand range recommendations
Lead internal reporting and tracking of category, competitor, and brand performance
Recommend adjustments in activation plans to maximise growth
Drive omni-channel thinking and collaborate with the E-Commerce Centre of Excellence
Present insights in meetings with recommendations to influence action
Foster a data and insight led culture by sharing data and best practices
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the data analytics and / or category management function
Strong analytical skills and experience in using a variety of data sources and platforms such as Circana and Nielsen
Experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong project management skills
Excellent communication capabilities
A passion for fitness, nutrition and wellbeing
Fluent English required, additional Continental European languages highly desirable (French, Dutch, Spanish and/or Italian)
