Responsibilities
- Management and monitoring of balancing groups in Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland
- Operational balancing group and nomination management (power and gas)
- Execution and coordination of energy volumes across national and international markets
- Conducting trading activities as part of the EEX 24/7 operations
- Leading and supporting cross-functional projects to improve systems, processes and governance
- Supporting market entry and expansion of international balancing group management
- Ensuring compliance with national and international market rules
- Supporting emergency and crisis management processes
- Maintaining full audit traceability and documentation of balancing group activities
- Close collaboration with Trading, Risk, IT and Finance
- Supporting the implementation of new tools, interfaces and digital solutions
Requirements
- Experience in balancing group management, energy logistics or energy trading
- Solid knowledge of energy market processes and regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience in power and gas markets
- Experience in balancing group management and settlement of biomethane and biogas volumes desirable
- Experience with forecasting, nomination and planning tools
- Familiarity with ETRM systems and energy data platforms
- Fluent in English and German
- Analytical, structured and proactive mindset with a hands-on approach
- Passion for building new structures and driving change
- Willingness to travel within the listed countries
