Responsibilities
- Accountable for functional, manufacturing, and broad company objectives.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps in design boards.
- Drive Flight Deck culture.
- Manage complex manufacturing issues within functional areas of expertise.
- Involved in both short and long-term planning to ensure on-time delivery of new technologies.
- Provide technical direction to a large design team for the RISE program.
- Provide manufacturing consultation on manufacturing practices and standards.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings.
- Assist design engineers and manufacturing engineers in aligning drawing requirements with manufacturing best practices.
- Work collaboratively with Design and Systems Engineering teams, production and global sites to formulate technical solutions.
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical, program and design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Good level of written and oral communication skills in English.
- 10+ additional years of relevant Manufacturing and / or Engineering experience
- Experience in development hardware ownership and manufacturing of high-precision, turbomachinery components.
- Strong aptitude in mechanical design, ability to review drawings, understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and Product Definition, including reading and interpreting drawings.
