About the role

  • IT Systemadministrator responsible for network administration and security at Fuchs Gruppe. Collaborating with international teams to implement and optimize network components.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation, configuration and administration of network components (switches, firewalls, wireless access points, proxy systems) as an IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
  • Troubleshooting, fault resolution and performance optimization within the network
  • Monitoring, ensuring and continuously improving network security
  • Creation, updating and maintenance of system, operations and network infrastructure documentation
  • Collaboration with internal teams and service-oriented communication with end users and departments
  • Participation in on-call duties

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in network administration or IT infrastructure, e.g., as an IT System Administrator, IT Specialist, Network Administrator, etc. (m/f/d)
  • Solid knowledge in implementing and configuring network components (switches, firewalls, wireless access points, proxy solutions)
  • Strong understanding of network architectures, troubleshooting and security mechanisms
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and virtualization environments is desirable
  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork skills, excellent communication skills and customer orientation
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills, and willingness to travel internationally
