About the role

  • Administrative Technician managing technical works related to personnel and administrative services. Supporting colleagues and organizational activities at the Vice-Presidency of Information Resources in a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technical tasks related to personnel management, work organization, and administrative follow-up of services provided to establishments and the head office.
  • Participate in managing and coordinating service requests, including assigning, tracking, and updating information in management tools.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standards related to equipment, material resources, and inventory management.
  • Role defined by management staff or professionals.
  • Perform technical tasks in collaboration with administrative unit managers to plan, control, and ensure the services required for the smooth operation of the unit.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare data or information related to budget, personnel, procurement, orders, contract follow-ups, and the management of equipment and inventory.
  • Communicate with suppliers, internal partners, and central agencies when required in the course of duties and represent the organization or its unit to them.
  • Attend meetings to inform management of difficulties encountered in administrative management.
  • May serve as an administrative assistant to various administrative committees.
  • May be assigned other related duties.

Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) with a specialization in administration or accounting, or another related field
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Education substitution: Each missing year of formal schooling may be compensated by two (2) additional years of relevant experience beyond the required experience
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, and ability to manage priorities
  • Customer service orientation and good communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
