Responsibilities
- Set-up projects in the accounting system
- Review and maintain project-related documents, including contracts and amendments
- Revenue recognition and reviewing and approving timesheets
- Data analysis and processing invoices
- Assist with training of Group Managers, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers and other technical staff in project accounting processes
- Proactively review pre-developed monitoring analytical tools to provide PMs, and GMs with data for gaps in target goals for reporting purposes
- Conduct required analysis for assigned groups and projects to identify errors and ensure accurate revenue recognition and WIP management
- Become technical expert for clients or client types that are complex and/or have specialized requirements
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance role
- Familiarity with Accounting software
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Initiative and attention to detail with the capability of working independently
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related field (preferred)
- Accounting experience working in the AEC industry (preferred)
